Students read and analyze "To Build a Fire" by Jack London. The students, in pairs, create a dwelling that would have solved the conflict for the protagonist (snow, cold, wet) and leave objects in the house that would allow the protagonist to survive. They will have to journal their rationales for every Minecraft decision using in-game Book and Quill.
Group waypoints/stations have been set for 17 groups (34 students when paired). Students spawn into an unbreakable glass house to receive instructions and teleport to their group building area.
